The
Tower of Tailor was built in the 14th century, at the second entrance in the citadel,
on the opposite side to the Tower with the Clock.
In 1676 it's damaged by the fire and by the big explosion which took place
here, because at that time here was the deposit of the munition.
1935 is the year of reconstruction
This
tower should have the same form and dimension of the Tower with the Clock.
It
belonged to a very prospering trade. At the beginning it had only one entrance
the second one was opened in 1936, a year after the reconstruction. The tower
is simple and solid, the entrances are two passages, which had huge wood gates
with grating.
